This is a very nice sprinkler. But when I tried to use it for the first time this season, it no longer rotates. I disassembled it as far as I could but found no obvious problem. The gear just isn't moving.

The best Sprinkler I've Ever Used! [Posted on 2006-07-03]
I purvhased my first Gilmour rotary sprinklers at a garage sale. They lasted a few years and needed to be replaced. I purchased a different brand from a local hardware store and they were awful. They were the pulsing type that make a lot of noise. I shopped the major big box home improvement stores, but they didn't have the Gilmour, so I decided to Google the name on the sprinkler. Got a hit right away and ordered two. I am so happy with the sprinklers! They put the water where I want it and I don't water the street. They are also very quiet and do a terrific job! I will buy more in the future.

I have use this sprinkler for two summer with great result. If you have great water pressure at your home this is the sprinkler to replace all. To water small area just turn the water pressure down from the home side. You can also adjust the distant with the slide on front nozzle. I use two Gilmour Water sprinkler and I water my lawn in less time than using under ground system. You will not go wrong with this rotary sprinkler.
