Bought this for a home improvement project and replacement of a closet unit in our master bedroom. I wasn't too sure of how it would work but in the end it actually got the job done. BTW: I picked this up for 1/2 price at Target so shop stores before buying here. I got it for only $15 and that wasn't on sale or anything. It was nice that the package even came with free batteries. It's not certainly going to build a house but will get little jobs done around the house. The drill/driver bit changer is very easy to use and can be done one handed easily if needed. Good little item!
It's a Cordless Screwdriver! [Posted on 2007-12-08]
I've had this for three years and it still works great. It's not a replacement for a power drill but simply a cordless screwdriver. What makes this different than most is that it takes regular AA batteries instead of rechargables. Considering that this is my fourth cordless screwdriver in 10 years, it has lasted longer than any other and was the least expensive - the reason being the batteries. Past cordess screwdrivers all were recharagable and failed because batteries couldn't be recharged anymore. For this unit, when in the middle of a project and the batteries on this unit get weak, simply put in four new ones and your back working - no need to wait for it to charge.
