Crudely made but usable [Posted on 2008-04-28]
I bought these to attach relatively lightweight objects (e.g., sets of keys, cell phone, etc.) to belt loops, pack straps, and storage hooks.
They look OK from a distance and they do the job, but not smoothly because of the sharp edges where the colored main body meets the uncolored swinging "gate". These edges catch easily on clothing or fabrics -- I can put my keys ON a belt loop easily, but getting them off the belt loop is difficult.
Also, where the swinging gate bar is hinged, the slot in it (that fits over the tab from the main body) appears poorly made.
I was surprised at how large they were, but that's my fault for not laying out the measurements given in the description.
