great clap for large items [Posted on 2007-04-02]
This band clamp really came in handy when we built a video storage cabinet for my folks. Works great and easy to use.

Band Clamp [Posted on 2007-05-13]
Great product this is the fourth type of this clamp that I have brought. Will buy again when these wear out.

Band clamps are excellent for gluing round/segmented bowls [Posted on 2008-02-10]
Before I purchased this clamp I could not easily get my segmented bowls and vessels glued together with the angles matching. I had to use used multiple clamps and there always was one that would not clamp and hold the joint together. With this one clamp I can quickly glue and have the wood pieces accurately match. I recommend this to anyone who glues several pieces together at the same time. It will work for picture frames and any item that has multiple angles that match. I plan to buy more.

Not strong enough for good clamping work [Posted on 2008-03-13]
This product is okay, works for basic items like picture frames, but isn't strong enough for any casement work. The plastic components in the handle strip out after a short amount of usage. I was disappointed with the product and had better luck using the corner pieces with some cheap tie down straps and mechanisms. I agree with the other review about the plastic just not being strong enough.

Then need to make the screw and body out of something stronger.

will do the job [Posted on 2008-06-29]
I am a woodworker and I use this device occasionaly with hard to hold objects. I have a very low budget shop and so this partiucular version.
Yes, you do need to treat it gently and stowing it is akward. It works well enough for a hobbyist
