The miter finder is such a fine crafted instrument that you just have to get the case for it. I mean you wouldn't want to scratch or otherwise damage this precision tool; would you? This case fits the unit like a glove (quite literaly) and has two pockets for the leg extension (mine as well get that too) and instructions. The case is padded and made of black nylon. The Bosch insignia is located in red on the enclosure. Amazon really should include a picture though it can be found on the Bosch WEB page. What a nice piece of kit...Just get it!

I too had dificulty obtaining this case. I waited and waited but eventually found it. It was worth the wait it fits perfectly and has shown to be quite durable so far.

I am sure this carry case works just fine and is long overdue. I put mine in a "hard side" spotting scope case (since Bosch offered no case at the time) and it has protected it for several years. A tool this sensitive and accurate needs some transportation protection. Good thinking Bosch!

wonderfullly fitting case. only one problem.....no cushion/quilting/protection from being bumped/dropped. if they ask, tell them to build next one with some foam in it .

When I purchased my Bosch miter angle finder I debated whether I really needed a carrying case; however, after receiving the angle finder I saw that I really needed to protect it. the carrying case does just that.
