Super Jigsaw [Posted on 2006-07-12]
I have shopped around for quiet awhile until I saw this Jigsaw on your site. I could not believe how cheap you were. This is well worth twice the price. I have used it on several projects and I have to say I`m very pleased with it. The laser light is really great and the scrolling is a super addition to have. I have only used it on one project but it worked with ease. I also was pleased to have it come in it`s own carrying case plus extra blades. Black & Decker my hat off to you.

Just love it [Posted on 2006-07-14]
I bought this for my husband for his birthday and when i ordered i just thought it was a plain old jigsaw but once i received it, it was so cool. My husband opened it and just had to play with all its features all evening. We have used it several times already and he just loves it. It does so many things

Incredibly loud [Posted on 2007-02-27]
This is not a complete review because I returned this saw after turning it on one time. It's VERY loud. I've used circular saws that weren't this painfully loud. The lower speed settings were also badly regulated, the tool surged until mid-range. I'd rather pay a little more for something that is more refined.

Made a believer out of me [Posted on 2007-03-17]
I used to have an el-cheapo jigsaw - and I could never get a straight cut out of it. It became a $5 bargain for somebody at a yard sale years ago. I had pretty much written off jigsaws as a waste of time and money. But I recently built a project that NEEDED a jigsaw for some of the cuts. SO... I bit the bullet and after a little research - decided on this Black & Decker jigsaw. It has POWER to spare, cuts straight and true (even without a guide fence, I can get a straight cut) The laser is actually quite helpful in guiding a straight cut - it's not a gimmick. If you are in the market for a jigsaw, you could do a lot worse than this one. It comes with about 8 extra blades and a dandy carrying case. For the money, I don't think you'll find anything better.

Great disappointment. [Posted on 2007-06-09]
I have been in woodworking industry for quite some time and am used to quality Bosch and DeWalt jigsaws. I purchased this tool due to a need for an inexpensive device for simpler jobs that do not require great precision. This piece of machinery proved to be a great disappointment. I am not sure if I have gotten a defective tool, but the blade could never be positioned straight (I have to unlock the scrolling head and turn it appr. 4' to achieve a straight cut), the plate could not be placed perpendicular to the jigsaw itself (even in the locked position) and the laser is absolutely useless. Overall, I learned yet again, that when it comes to tools you get what you pay for.
