Welcome to Tool Time [Posted on 2007-08-31] I was very happy to find that when my battery arrived I didn't have to spend the time charging it - out of the package it was ready to go. Now I don't have to be like Tool Time Tim waiting for an accident to happen, I can go ahead and jump in feet first. Thanks Amazon for nice prices for quality products.
PS120 [Posted on 2007-10-27] I have had a BD drill for about five years or more and I just replace one of the batteries. Great product. I just purchased one for my son and a second one for me so I can run to drivers at once.
Black & Decker PS120 9.6-volt Nicad Pod Style Battery [Posted on 2008-04-27] My cordless Black & Decker drill is approximately 15 years old and the battery needed to be replaced. Although this product was not easy to find in hardware stores, Amazon.Com again came to my rescue. The cordless drill is operating as good as new and saved me the higher cost of buying a new cordless drill today.
Black and Decker 9.6 volt battery review [Posted on 2008-05-19] Truthfully, what's there to review about a battery as long as it works. The good news is that the original battery lasted about 6 years and performed well. The bad news is that box stores are always willing to sell you the tool but there is no backup after the sale so try buying another battery a couple years later. So, Amazon.com here I come, and I got a good deal on it (a two pack this time) too. The new ones work just like the old one and now my drill, which is in near new shape, does not need to be trashed.
Thanks.
You never really have a battery device unless you have 2 batteries [Posted on 2008-06-20] I have always said this about radios in disasters and emergencies, as the battery dies about the time you really need it, but for years I tolerated a single battery for my drill, which occasionally left me waiting for hours on a trickle-charger or running a cord to the work place and switching to a corded drill. Now the rapid charger and spare battery keep me doing what I need to do, both around the house and at work. It's a good idea at a good price.
