I assumed that the rotary took was three speed, but there are many more than that as it is fully adjustable. I am happy with the quality and price.

I bought this product as a nail trimmer/grinder for my two golden retrievers and 3 cats. There is a dremel product specifically marketed for this purpose, but the reviews stated it was low on power and battery life. I received this rotary tool today and tested it right away. On the lowest setting with a fine sanding band, it works wonderfully on the dogs and cats. I have also tested it around the house for little odd jobs needed, and it has enough power and versatility for anything I need done.

I have been using this to make RC gliders and it rocks! I may need to get some extra kinds of heads, but it seems to have universal compadability! Possibly the best dremel purchase on the planet at this time.

lots of applications around the house. almost bought a dremel, glad i didnt. all the dremel accessories fit the b&d. Only drawback is it isnt cordless, but cordless would sacrifice power

For the money it's great! Keep in mind it's not cordless, so best for around the home small jobs. Has strong power, and neatly stores in it's case.
