I bought one of these at my local Target for occasional use at my office; it was on sale for $35, which made it an excellent buy, especially when you consider that the battery alone sells on Amazon for $45. No, it's not a Milwaukee or Makita, but it's not $250 either. It is more than powerful enough for your everyday drilling and driving needs. The included work light is a nice addition. Also comes with a heavy canvas bag with pockets for accessories. No complaints so far, but I wouldn't expect to use it for heavy-duty jobs. One caveat: "variable speed" here does not mean continuously variable, only two set speeds.

Have had no problems with it. In face, this is the second one I have had. The last one lasted 2 years and I ame rough on them.
