I bought this drill a few weeks ago, and it has made household work so much easier. I've drilled through wood and drywall without any problems. Driving screws is easy too. It's a good value.

This drill was the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. It quit working within a few months. The batteries didn't hold their charge. Overall, a major waste of money, except it was a gift.

Do yourself a favor, buy a DeWalt/Porter-Cable/Milwaukee.

The Black & Decker 14-Volt Drill/Driver is a good drill/driver. It's not a professional drill; so if you are doing a lot of heavy drilling, bring along something with a cord for more stamina. Otherwise, I love it. It's pretty light. It's surprisingly powerful for a battery drill, enough to strip screwdriver bits. I have mine set up with quick changer (Craftsman "Speed-Lok") and I use it all the time. I thought the Gel grip was a gimmick at first, but it does improve the comfort of the drill. Mine was a gift, but I would buy one if I didn't already have one.
