compact and convenient [Posted on 2008-01-21] I really love the light weight and ergonomic feel.It has good power and is solidly built. The trigger on mine feels sticky and I catch myself checking if I'm half way between foward and reverse,I may get used to it but it bugs me for now. What really bugs me is it isn't variable speed like the 14v model.
Black & Decker VPX 7-Volt Drill Driver [Posted on 2008-02-09] Very compact and powerful. It has a 2 speed gear box low & hi plus forward & reverse, but it would be nice if it was variable speed, still it's a very nice unit & I am quit pleased with it.
Nice little driver for household chores [Posted on 2008-02-25] I just got this little driver today. I used it to hang cabinets and towel bars in my bathroom, then assembled a file cabinet shortly after I got home. I bought it for doing much of the light duty things I do at work. Being in building maintenance, I can't think of a better way to test it out. I own an 18 volt DeWalt drill and lugging that monster around can get pretty old when you use it to drive a few screws then lug it back down 7 floors.
Amazing.... for the money. [Posted on 2008-03-14] This drill is no Bosch or Hilti. BUT for the money it's an amazing machine. For around $45, there isn't a better drill anywhere. And it doesn't feel as cheap as the price might suggest. The best part about it is the small battery pack. The much more expensive products from Germany (Bosch) and Lichtenstein (Hilti) usually have rather large and heavy battery attachment that make working with them more tiring.
Great little drill [Posted on 2008-05-04] Bought this drill for small jobs - Much lighter and easier to handle than my dewalt drill.
