Beware bundling with Bosch PS20-2 [Posted on 2007-12-12] This product is fine but Amazon persists in suggesting that you might want to bundle it with a Bosch PS20-2. Unfortunately the PS20-2 has a 1/4" chuck which is incompatible with the CC2100 Clic-Change Chuck... It's the proverbial square peg in the round hole... Both products are fine separately, but they will not work together.
Rating for Amazon, not the product. [Posted on 2007-12-25] As mentioned by others, Amazon recommends you buy this product along with the Bosch 10.8 volt pocket driver. As also was stated, this chuck is not compatible with the pocket driver. My teenage son bought me the pocket driver and the chuck for Christmas. He thought the chuck was actually a drill bit chuck, which would allow me to use the pocket driver as a cordless drill. Obviously he didn't read the description closely, as this is not a drill bit chuck. My issue is with Amazon suggesting this product as a companion to the pocket driver. Even if it did fit the pocket driver, why would you need an add-on "Clic-Change" chuck for a device that has a "Clic-Change" chuck already built into it? In this case, Amazon needed to do a better job knowing what it was recommending to its customers.
Simply Great [Posted on 2008-02-28] A well-built, compact, and easy to use bit exchange chuck. I especially like the use of rubber on the area where you pull to release the bits. I am buying another one for use on an older, keyed-chucked drill.
With some looking around, you can find drill bits that work with the chuck to increase its usefulness and convenience.
Great Set but Note Compatiblity [Posted on 2008-04-07] I bought the Pocket Driver from Bosch, and you can see that this set is paired with that particular product. So I bought this set to go along with my new pocket drill. I may be not seeing how they go together, but the chuck stem does not fit in the pocket driver head. It works well with a regular chuck drill, and is a breeze changing bits. It is just a tug and snap to change bits and that makes every job easier when you don't have to loosen/tighten the chuck with each change. Check for compatibility with your type of drill before purchasing.
worth the money [Posted on 2008-07-01] I have 2 quick change chucks, one from Dewalt and this one from Bosch. I keep one in each of my 2 drills. They both work great, once you try it, you will not want to go back locking and unlocking chuck on your drill every time you need to change the bit. The only difference between the 2 brands, in case you are trying to compare, is that the Bosch seems to unlock the bit in a more logical way, maybe samewhat easier. However, they are both quality accessories, and once you own it, you will get used to the operation and will not notice any major difference.
