This is a very nice edge guide. Bosch tools are easy to setup and use. The quality is beyond what one would expect these days, especially with all the cheap knock-offs from the Orient. Go ahead and spend a few extra dollars and get the good stuff.

The Bosch router edge guide is an excellent accessory to the Router. It is well manufactured and performs up to the Bosch standards. I was actually very impressed with its heft and construction. Nothing cheap about it! Your shipment was very fast and I was pleased with your attention.

Finally got around to trying this guide out by making some slots for t-track. I maxed out the extension on the guide, the worst case scenario for poor tracking. I was expecting it to rack or twist. I was pleasantly surprised when it just worked. The plastic glides slid smoothly on the edge, the bars didn't rack or twist, it was just smooth sailing. The micro adjust works the same as the base adjustment on my 1617. Only disappointment is the max dept from the edge. I don't know that any of the other guides are better fwiw.

This edge guide has worked very well for me. I haven't had any problems with the plastic guide breaking like some others have reported.
The jig is attached to the router by tightening two small thumbscrews. I hand tightened these the first few times had always had the jig eventually slip loose. Once I started tightening them with a screwdriver, I have had no issues.

This is an excellent addition to Bosch router kits. It is a precision tool that works well with either the fixed or plunge router base to set precise edge spacing for cutting dados or mortises. The dust collection adaptor is not as effective as I would like however.
