Customer Reviews:

Much less saw dust! [Posted on 2000-01-17]
This blade replaced a blade in need of sharpening. I never thought much about the difference in circular saw blades but this one makes remodeling a pleasure. The cuts I made after I put it on were faster, more accurate, and dropped about half as much saw dust. My other carbide blade had an alternating direction tooth pattern, I don't remember the brand but it was thicker and heavier in comparison when I took it off to put this one on.

Quality [Posted on 2002-12-14]
This is a rough cutting blade for framing, rough carpentry, etc. Very good quality.

Time saver! [Posted on 2008-06-04]
This is my favorite blade that I own. The thin kerf cuts a smooth line with less sawdust and less chipping and splitting than most blades. And the ability to ignore nails in the wood and just go right through them is a major time-saver for me. I do remodeling of old homes and there are often old shiplap siding boards that I need to cutout and this blade allows me to to do jobs with my circular saw that I used to have to do with a recip saw. Obviously, the circular saw is much faster and straighter than the recip saw, so this saved me a lot of time and effort. I don't have an idea yet on the durability of this blade, but when it eventually wears out, I'm planning to get another just like it.

Give me nails and I will conquer [Posted on 2008-09-06]
The blade works very well for cutting through embedded nails. I keep it to use when I know the lumber with nails has to be trimmed. Only rated 3 because of the cost. It is too expensive to use in place of my normal blade.
