for what it does it does well....but beware [Posted on 2007-05-19]
these things make huge and I mean huge clouds of dust. They are great for long rips but be prepared to wear a respirator and not one of those cliche' cheap painters ones either I mean a cartridge type unit. But the reality is for long rips you need this unit. However for shorter rips , cross cuts get the "Snapper Shear ss404". They are virtually dustless. For detail work use a jigsaw with a coarse blade...see my other reviews for examples.
