Customer Reviews:

Dewalt DW4762 [Posted on 2007-05-16]
This blade replaced a Qep 10" 7mm rim blade. It was adequate yet, after replacing it with this DW4762 blade, the difference is tremendous. This is a much smoother blade, with less vibration and it feeds with much less noise. In addition, there is much less chipout on both sides of the tile being cut. I have cut porcelain tile, stone, marble and granite. I have had excellent results on all of these. Very satisfied with this blade.

Cuts Great [Posted on 2007-06-27]
The tile blade cuts great and I received the item guickly. The Dewalt DW4762 provides a smooth finish minimizes chipping.

The cutting edge! [Posted on 2007-08-23]
Received quickly and it works great in my saw. I'm doing floor, walls and countertops.

Great Item!  [Posted on 2007-09-28]
The Dewalt DW4762 cuts heavy duty Porcelain Tile and Granite with ease. We are using it on a DeWALT D24000 Tile Saw which is one of the best investments we have made.

Dewalt 10 inch Porcelain Blade Works Great [Posted on 2008-03-19]
I have an inexpensive Wet Saw which I am using for cutting 20x20 Porcelain tiles with square edges, that is, no bevel. I wanted clean cuts, with no chipping, so I could use as much of each tile as possible. According to Dewalt, the DW4762 blade is designed specifically for porcelain so I decided to try it to get the clean cuts that I needed.

At first, the saw was not adjusted properly, and the trailing side of the blade was rubbing on one side of the kerf. This caused massive chipping on the tile surface. However, once I adjusted the saw to cut straight and the trailing saw edge did not rub either side of the kerf, the blade made very clean cuts. Both sides of the kerf are very straight with no chipping on the edges. In fact, unless inspected closely, it would be hard to tell which edges are original and which are cut edges.
I don't know how other blades would compare, if they would do the same quality job, but for what I needed, this worked very well.
