Was a bit skeptical about drilling holes for installation. Comes with drill bit. Installs in less than an hour. Works great for changing blades. Never took the tension off the blade before.

Installation was very easy. Only had to call upon "OWMBO" once during the entire process. Took about an hour start-to-finish.

No issues with quality or utility. Installs easily and no issues with wheel alignment.

But, I don't understand why this riser kit is $115. Risers for other similar import bandsaws can be had for about $60 (and some of them come with a 105" blade). This is the main reason I'm only rating it 3 stars.

This upgrade for the 14" delta bandsaw was very easy to install. It made the saw run much smoother. the only problem that I ran into was the bolt that was included in the set was standard thread and the nut that you were to use over from your bandsaw is metric. so for me it was off to the hardware store. But I am very happy with this upgrade.

Great for bowl blanks [Posted on 2008-11-22]
I turn a lot of wood bowls on the lathe and the Delta Height attachment made it possible to saw much larger round bowl blanks from logs. Previously I would need to change to a narrow blade in my large bandsaw which I use for resawing. My 14" Delta is now a more usefull machine.
