Rip Fence good for the money T2 Delta rip fence [Posted on 2008-01-30]
You are looking at a very good product, for the money. Very complete, including fasteners. (see below)
This was installed on a late-seventies vintage Rockwell 10" contractor's saw. No holes to drill, with the right screws, (not supplied, but not a big deal) you could screw right into the original table. The supplied screws are smaller, and long enough to work.
If you plan on taking about an hour, you can clean and adjust your saw and the fence. (Twenty minutes stated in another review is fast.)
The fence moves easily and, after an easy adjustment, is dead on every time it's locked.
It moves well because of plastic slides, which will wear-out someday. I'm ordering an extra set and attaching them to the saw in a baggie.
The rails are longer than the original, which allows ripping a larger panel, but a little reorganizing may be needed if you maximize your tool space.
This fence really upgrades the saw. Sometimes you wish it wouldn't be so perfect, I can't say I need a new saw now.
Four rather than five stars because of the plastic guides.

I had an old 50's vintage craftsman table saw with a fence that would not stay true. So instead of replacing the saw I ordered the delta 36T30 and installed it on the old saw. While I did have to drill a couple of holes for mounting, the fence installation went smooth. It took me about two hours, but time well spent. The fence works great and stays square.
The $150 was a real bargin considering that a Besimeyer fence was nearly $400 too much investment for an old saw.
Good deal, Amazon service was good, with fee freight.

I should have done this years ago!! I adapted this fence to a 1941 Craftsman 10" tablesaw. This saw was left to me by my great grandfather. I have been fighting the wobbley Craftsman fence for years!!! I had to create a mounting plate out of 3" X 3/16 strip steel because the old Craftsman saw's cast iron table wasn't thick enough to meet the holes on the new fence's mounting channel. But once I got it mounted, the fence works great! Vary accurate and easy to adjust! Best $150 I have spent on a tool in a long time!

I installed this fence on a 10" Craftsman saw. Had to modify the factory holes in the front and rear angle iron. Took about 1hr to do this. Take your time and all goes well. This fence is a great value for the money. Major upgrade from the factory fence. Love it. Handle could be a bit better. Does not stay in the up position to move fence. I have to fix this.

Fence works great. There is very little adjustments needed to the fence. Fence comes with side to sid tilt adjustments and Pendulum angle adjustments. Wood doesn't bind or kick back when ripping. This item was shipped and delivered on the date that was given.
