review [Posted on 2007-06-03] I boght this cart as a gift for my mom. She just loves it!!
Works but not in the soft sand [Posted on 2007-08-22] I was looking for a beach cart. I found this one and it looked interesting. I watched the movie and it showed the cart working over soft sand so I bought it.
Assembly went quickly and it worked well in the driveway and on the grass. Took it to the beach and loaded it up and it didn't make it to the end of the driveway. The cart came apart in the middle. It was missing a screw to hold the front and back half together. Trip to Lowes solved the issue.
Started out to the beach again and the cart did really fine over the driveway, across the grass, and down the road to the beach. Once I hit the soft sand I had to drag the cart across the beach. Once on the harder sand the wheels started working again. As the week went on I tried different configurations to see if I could get the wheels to work in the sand without much success.
The configuration I was using for the beach was extended to full length with only the front riser installed. On the cart I had one small cooler, 2 folding chairs, 1 beach umbrella, 3 towels, and 1 life jacket all held on with bungee cords.
If I wanted this cart for yard work it would likely be good for me. However, I got this specifically to work on the beach and it is to much work to pull across the soft sands. I returned it and will look for another one.
Other people on the beach were having good success with a cart from rolleze (sp?).
The most versatile wagon [Posted on 2007-09-10] This cart can be used for so many jobs that I don't know what I did without it for so long. Loading my RV is a pleasure now with no more hageling with clothes and many other item that we bring along on a trip or vacation. Great for the garden, lawn, and even toting groceries into the house, which we used to have to lug in, and sometimes the bags would split open. NO MORE! I am thinking of getting another one for my wife, because this one is mine now, even tho I got it for her.
gardeb=n cart [Posted on 2008-04-03] This cart is a heaven sent I use it carring all my gardening supplies to my garden and it is great for carring Potting soil and other garden bags used in the garden. This is very light weight to use.
Disappointed [Posted on 2008-04-28] This product arrived completely damaged. The quality of the material was very cheap. Having said that, I must give credit to both Amazon, and the company who makes the product. I called the company who makes the product ( not the company that sold it through Amazon). I talked to the owner of the company who was very apologetic. He informed me me that the last batch of ez does it carts were manufactured in China with very shoddy materials. He said that he was in the process of getting a new manufacturer and a new and quality made product would be out in June. Also Amazon was very helpful in refunding the the price of the product without any questions and without my having to pay any shipping costs either way. However, I cannot say the same thing about the company that sold the product through Amazon. When I ordered the product I was told that the product was temporarily out of stock and that it would be sent as soon as it was back in stock. Well low and behold within 3 days I received what was supposed to be out of stock. This was, however before I had talked to the owner of the company who manufactures the product. Surely if I was told when calling in to make an inquiry about the defective material, the companies who are selling the products would also have been told. It makes me just a little suspicious that this company wanted to unload a defective product on an unsuspecting consumer.
