good but not great [Posted on 2008-04-10]
i have used several blowers in the past most of them electric. i didnt really like the cord i wanted a gas for a change. this blower started easy enough and was easy to put together but the air volume wasnt really what i expected rated at 200mph i expected more. then again it wasnt the most expensive of models.

Make Your Neighbors Miserable! [Posted on 2008-04-14]
No one has mentioned this important feature, but this leaf blower - or any leaf blower, really - can ruin the silence of a Sunday morning like nothing else. Just think of your neighbors, trying to enjoy a cup of coffee and the bird song, then think with satisfaction, of how miserable they will be when you fire up your awesome howling power. Leaves and twigs, look out! Guaranteed to send dirt and noise flying everywhere. This one, sadly, emits no noxious fumes, which are good for ruining weekend breakfasts and brunches as well. Enjoy!

Not a sturdy machine [Posted on 2008-05-08]
Works relatively well as a leaf blower, but I do not recommend use as a vacuum. The impeller blades are plastic and quickly chip, crack and fall off when used as a vacuum. Unfortunately, the same blades that mulch the leaves also generate the airflow for the blower, so as they crack off, the air available for blowing drops off significantly. I also had problems with cracking of the plastic casing around the impeller. Even when working well, the vacuum tubing clogged frequently.

I found and purchased an new impeller online. The new impeller markedly improved performance for a time, but also quickly wore down. A second new impeller lasted only a few minutes before it cracked, jammed and destroyed the main drive shaft. Not worth fixing anymore.

This is a relatively light, powerful gas blower, suitable for small yards and great for driveways. Not recommended for significant leaf vacuum/mulching tasks. With repairs, it lasted 1.5 seasons. I'm now in the market for a new vacuum with metal mulching blades for better longevity.

gas leaf blower [Posted on 2008-05-09]
great blower. has all the goodies. a tad heavey but OK for a man to use unless your a woman with big guns. all in all, i recommend it.

Engine Weak [Posted on 2008-08-12]
I purchased two of these blowers and they both do the same thing. The engines take time to get up to full RPM, maybe two minutes or more. They need a lot of convincing to keep running by playing with the choke. Also, there is a clicking sound coming from the blowers, like the turbine is hitting the case. Get a Ryobi instead.
