Ouch! This "reconditioned" tool smoked the first time I squeezed the trigger. It's impossible for me to believe that refurbishing was anything more than a wash and wax. So now the hassle of returning it for another refurb? Or consider this a lesson learned...
On the bright side, this is the first Milwaukee power tool of the dozen or more that I own that has failed to perform beyond the call of duty.

I have bought a few refurbished products. With Milwaukee refurbs they are hit or miss as to condition. 90% of them look almost new. As to quality and function it's a Milwaukee, aside from dropping it off a building they will last a long time. This saw has plenty of power and very good depth of cut for most larger building materials. The only complaint I have with this saw is the blade depth adjustment. It is not like a typical circular saw, instead of having a fixed pivot point near the front of the foot and an arc with a tightening adjustment near the rear this saw has a 1 point t-track adjustment near the front. This gives the base a little play. It makes it hard to cut perfectly square if you're running the foot against a straight edge. Also it feel's a little flimsy compared to a normal system which has a 2 points of attachment to the foot. Overall this saw performs great and the fact that my specialty table saw blades work with it is an added bonus. For the price it's a good buy.
