I got this leaf blower as "recondidtioned", but it runs like a champ. Starts on a very few pulls and has plenty of power to blow leafs, wet or dry. It is relatively light weight and can get leaves out of the toughest areas. One bad thing is the blowers tubes. THey tend to disconnect. I ended up screwing them together so they wouldn't fall apart.

I OWN A COUPLE OF BACKPACK BLOWERS AND THIS IS THE BEST ONE YET! WE USE THE RYOBI MOST OF THE TIME IN MY LAWN CARE BUSINESS BECAUSE IT IS VERY DEPENDABLE. FOR THE MONEY YOU CANT BEAT THIS PRODUCT. IT IS COMMERCIAL QUALITY. DO NOT WORRY THAT IT IS A FAC. RECONDITIONED MODEL BECAUSE IT LOOKS AND RUNS JUST LIKE A BRAND NEW ONE. I PLAN TO PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE AT THIS PRICE...60% OFF REGULAR RETAIL...NO TAXES...NO SHIPPING.

After using it three times, so far, so good. I am very pleased with the Ryobi blower. It is easy to start, has good power for what I need and is easy on the back. The only strange thing that I found were the cheap clamps they sent with it to hold the tubes on and the cheap ties to hold the throttle wire on.

Very Satisfied / Backpack blower working hard daily! [Posted on 2008-05-09]
We purchased this backpack blower for a small business, clearing leaves from many seasonal campground sites. Have used it daily for four weeks, approximately 3 hours per day. Works very well. Acceptable power level -- not as strong as larger blowers, but excellent for the money. We move huge amounts of leaves. Gas tank is small and needs to be refilled after about one hour of use.

Didn't start [Posted on 2008-05-16]
The blower didn't work. I had to take it to a repair shop and Ryobi paid the repair bill. The unit was missing it's fuel filter. Unfortunatly, I wasted about two hours of my time.
