Factory Reconditioned Sistema WK3 1,750 PSI Consumer Electric Pressure Washer #10127RC [Posted on 2008-05-19] This is a nice power washer for the price. It does everything I need it for from washing house, car, and rear patio. I like It. It has all the attachments.
Could not rate, din't work out of the box [Posted on 2008-06-26] The power to the unit did not work. Would not recommend this unit, spent time putting together and sending back. Amazon great at returning the unit.
Electric Pressure Washer [Posted on 2008-07-01] Washer worked normally for about an hour, then the motor started to overheat popping the circuit breaker. After cool down, it would run for a short period before stopping again. Each cooldown produced a shorter and shorter work period before stoppage. Skip this one unless you like a lot of breaks.
Great Value [Posted on 2008-07-04] I bought a reconditioned WK3 from here and am overall very happy with it. This is the first pressure washer I've ever owned so I can't really compare it to anything else, but so far it meets my expectations.
My original purpose was to knock spider webs and wasp nests off my overhangs. It's also been used for car washing, cleaning the crud off the bottom of my garbage cans, and getting tire marks off the driveway. It gets the job done quickly and without wasting much water. For car washing purposes, it won't replace hand washing as it still leaves a thin layer of grime behind but it does get rid of the big stuff - bird droppings, dead bugs, etc. and makes the hand washing part easier and reduces the possibility of your sponge picking up something hard and scratching your paint. I also found out, accidentally, that at the stronger settings the spray is strong enough to strip the stain off my fence... oops.
There are a few negatives to the machine. The most annoying one for me is that the detergent bottle only works when using the foam nozzle. I was hoping it would work with the high pressure sprayers too. You can work around this somewhat by using the foam nozzle to "prime" the vacuum system and then switch to a high pressure nozzle but the concentration ends up being very low. The other annoyance is that the wheels aren't effective for trying to roll the unit on my lawn. They are too close together and the unit tends to want to topple over. A wider track for the wheels would go a long way towards fixing this. In all fairness though, all of the electric washers I've seen that have wheels are similarly designed and probably have the same problem.
Stumped [Posted on 2008-07-16] The washer arrived but none of the extensions, lances fit into the gun. The washer is refurbished and the lances are old.
I have been calling Sistema but no one picks up the phone. There's no answering machine, the line just drops.
I tried sending them a note on their Contact Us page on their website, but the "Submit" button does not work!!!!!!
