This is a great tool. It spins slightly faster then the M77, and is more compact. Not a lot more compact, but enough that you notice. With this saw you get the durability of a steel table with the light weight of the Mag77. If you take off the guard you can clear a 7 1/2 blade no problem. With care this saw will outlast your ability to use it.

Super tough but also pretty heavy. I love it but still reach for my 5 1/2" Skilsaw first [Posted on 2008-06-04]
This is a super tough, super well built saw with plenty of power but it's still heavier than I prefer and I find myself reaching for the 5 1/2" Skilsaw when possible; which is most of the time. I love tools so I don't regret buying this little gem but for the average home owner, light contractor stuff I'd start with a 5 1/2"er first. You may find you need nothing else.
