Working just like I wanted it to! [Posted on 2007-01-04]
This de-icer is keeping my 500 gallon pond at a consistant 48 degrees. Even on days where the temp dropped below freezing and my other pond froze over, the pond with the de-icer stayed 48 degrees. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that the metal guard around the heating element is getting very rusty. Other than that I'm very happy with it's performance.
