Customer Reviews:

Btter then expected [Posted on 2008-01-25]
I was surprised how well this blade performed. It cut mahogany ply, oak ply and melemine with no tear out. Crosscutting was equally impressive. I had no problems with burning when ripping 5/4<>4/4 white/red oak and hard maple. The real test was my cherry(I live in sw Pa.) slight burn there. However I have a 5hp Powermatic 66 cabinet saw and my feed rate in higher(faster) then comparable 3hp models. I can see where ripping with a 3hp or less saw may cause burns. Make sure your blade is aligned with the miter slot, most preferably with a dial indicator. Fence also. I have mine set @ .002 out on the trailing edge and use a riving knife. For the price it preforms better then either of my Forrest blades with the exception of ripping hardwood. But it does an excellent job on the ply and melemine material.

It's not all hype for a change [Posted on 2008-02-03]
I found my new blade on my doorstep this morning in a slightly damp box, slapped it one the saw and tried a crosscut in some very poor quality oak ply that just wants to splinter no matter what I do. Not even the tiniest bit of chipout and edges that look like they've been sanded to 400 grit. What a great blade, worth every penny.

Great Blade [Posted on 2008-02-27]
Blade worked very well with almost no sanding. There was very little chipping of veneered plywood when I remembered to place the blade at the right height. Overall a great product.

Great blade-----best I have ever used. [Posted on 2008-05-15]
I have purchased several saw blades over the years but none rivals this for smoothness of cut. I no longer have to switch blades when I change from ripping to doing a crosscut------this blade handles both types of cut equally well. Hardwood slides through it like butter and I've seen no tearout on 3/4 inch veneer.

Ok, so you looked at this blade now go buy the Forrest WW10407125  [Posted on 2008-06-06]
I am so sorry I bought this blade before I bought a Forest. It leaves black smears on oak and maple stock. And they are glass hard. One smear was so bad, I ruined my piece sanding the black out.
Forest makes the best. There now I said it too.
