Groovy little gardening tool [Posted on 2000-06-14]
I've been looking for a rose stem cutter that's not as heavy as a pruner but more substantial than a pair of scissors for taking quick cuttings from the garden and this tool is perfect! It has a safety edge on it, so it can be placed in your back pocket, unlike a pruner. It's also a nice size -- about as big as a pair of kitchen scissors. The thorn strippers are a great feature, especially when gathering old-fashioned rambling roses, which are especially prickly. The bright blue color makes it hard to lose, even if you drop in in the grass. I really love it!
