I bought the Garmin legend,I have found it to be very accurate most of the time,It has top speed,odeometor,altitude,records where you have been and it has a pretty big base map,it even tells best times to hunt and fish for that day.You can put it on the map screen while driving and see your location indicated by a small arrow.I use mine on my motorcycle and on trips,I also take it hiking to see how far I have been.Very good GPS for the price
