Everyone's got something "loose" in a house that needs to be fixed - and because you don't have the glue, the nails, the hammer, the TIME, or the right clamp, it goes unrepaired for ages.

Well, all the stars were in alignment one day when I decided to fix all those little projects my husband never gets around to (I'm the Ms. Fix It in the household.) I had purchased these clamps with an eye to fix loose trim on an antique blanket chest, a piece of baseboard molding that had somehow split from the rest of the run, and the highly annoying veneer on a bathroom vanity that absolutely drove me nuts anytime I went to brush my teeth.

I've SEEN clamps, the huge ones my father used to use for uber industrial applications. I needed something more substantial and solid than the cheapie spring clamps from Home Depot, and these guys seemed to fill the bill.

Well, once I got all my tools out (and had to go get another bottle of wood glue, since the old one dried out from the last time I attempted "repairs"), and 48 hours after I started (giving time for the glue to dry and the clamps to do their magic), ALL of the "little repairs" are finally...repaired!

The clamps worked like a charm. Easy to use, even for women with less-than-stellar hand strength. They gripped firmly, and novice that I am, I can proudly report that all my repairs are seamless! Imagine - you can't tell it was done (and with me doing it, that's something of a miracle.)

I'd highly recommend these clamps, which are small enough to be put in any sized toolbox, as staples for your tool arsenal. I'd give an extra nudge to the woman of the house, who finds herself having to be handy if she wants to get those "little jobs" done. Believe me, if I can do it, YOU can do it!
