This is the most useful gift I've ever received. Stick it in the little pocket in your front jean pocket, and you'll never know it's there until you need it. The clip is very strong, no fear of the knife slipping out of your pocket. The locking mechanism is secure, but very easy to fold with one hand. Works great as a bottle cap remover, and a money clip too.

Got one as a gift for Christmas... some how lost it (well, it is pretty small)... so glad I found it again on Amazon, and for much less too! All the major sporting goods stores want $30 for it. This is a super great, super light knife.

The Gerber Trendy is a diminutive knife that weighs just 1.2 ounces and measures 3 inches closed and 4-1/2 inches when open. While it is small, this is a knife with a lot of utility in a very attractive package.
The Trendy has a 1-1/2 inch blade with a fine edge that is quite sharp and holds an edge nicely. There's a clip that's billed as a money clip, but it also allows the knife to be clipped inside a wallet or pocket. The liner lock is an integral part of the handle that is secure at all times while keeping the blade open. The pear wood "handle" is just an attractive accent that serves as a blade edge guard when the knife is folded.
The Gerber Trendy is a pocket knife in the truest sense. There are almost no places to collect dirt or lint that would inhibit the smooth function of this knife, but due to its size and design it does require two hands to open and close.
