This sprinkler worked fine, for about a month. The gear drive didn't last and, to their credit, the manufacture promptly replaced it. However, the next one didn't last much longer than the first. The oscillating drum kept hanging up. Plastic sprinklers just aren't a good idea, given the heavy use and rough handling they must endure. This one was no exception. I'll be looking for a metal one in a higher price range to save the aggravation.
