I am a hardcore billiards enthusiast, and I ordered the calipers to measure
the tip (or ferrule) sizes in millimeters. Useful in billiards discussions, or when buying, trading, or selling cues. I carry it in my cue case.

I purchased this item some time ago just for measuring items and be on the precise side , I chose it primarily for its affordable price since I would just be using it once in a while. The item appeared to be of reasonable quality and I've used it a couple of times it's easy enough to measure stuff you just have to loosen the thumb screw before adjusting the caliper's length. Overall this is an ok caliper for the occasional user . The shipping and handling though was a bit high from this seller, otherwise the whole transaction was ok.

this is one of those tools you never really think you'll use but want one anyway(at least that's how it was for me) Now that i have it though i find myself using it all the time to measure wood precisely for tighter fits, measuring bits to see if they truly are the size they say, measuring bolts, etc. At this price get one and you'll see what i mean.
