just received today am actually using this jet air filtration system in my house in the house wanted to try this for smoking otherwize electrostatic filter is great for dust will see how this works for that but is not as pictured, comes paper framed and looks similar to electrostatic one without the metal support but actual filter is much stiffer

I gave it 3 stars because I'm not sure. Got this charcoal filter about a year ago. It has a cardboard frame and looks the same as the electrostatic filter except you can see that it has a black filtration media in it. I think maybe, possibly it's doing what it's supposed to do, but tell you the truth I'm not really sure, I didn't notice much of a difference before or after. Maybe when the time comes I'll buy another one, but at $50 a pop it'll receive strong re-consideration. Anyways, buyer beware.
