I too got the setscrews [Posted on 2002-05-09]
The previous review (saying the dado insert now came with setscrews) pushed me into buying the dado insert. I'm happy to report that mine also came with setscrews. It's a dado insert and so there is not much to it -- it works and Jet finally figured out to include the setscrews!

It is a well made cast aluminum or zinc product but did not fit my Jet Table Saw without quite a bit of filing. I think the casting was several thousandths oversize and when the insert was powder coated the coating made the insert way to large to fit.

This insert fits like a glove on my Jet JWTS-10jf Table Saw.
A perfect match for my Jet contractor table saw [Posted on 2003-01-30]
This was a pre-christmas gift for myself. I purchased
the SD206 6" Freud Professional Dado blades, and the
JET DI-10 / 708102 8" Dado Insert for Right Tilt Saw. Together these work great together. While I've not
gone all out and used the blades extensively. I have
played around and made a number of cuts with them. The dado's are clean, flat along the bottom (unlike
with a wobble dado set). I'm not a full-time woodworking. I just like to play
around with my pwoer tools in the garage. These products
were perfect for me. Low in cost, and high in results. For a beginner or starter set. I don't see how you can
go wrong with this items. Plus the carrying case for
the dado blades is quite handy.
