Best pocket knife ever [Posted on 2006-08-28]
I have carried pocket knives for over five decades. I have always taken pride in the type and quality of knife I owned. I rarely loose a knife and routinely touch up the blade to keep it sharp.
When I was looking for this knife there were several features that were a must. It had to open and close easily with one hand. It needed to fit in the pocket of my jeans and dress clothes and not be bulky. The quality of the knife needed to be high and it needed to look good.
When I first spotted this knife on Amazon, the flat blade design was of concern to me, but it met the rest of my qualifiers, so I thought I'd give it a chance. I would have quickly returned this knife had I not really liked it.
This is the best knife I have ever had. The one hand opening and closing feature was a little tricky to get used to but I had fun practicing. The opening feature was a little sticky at first and I was ready to contact the company, but after a little use, this became a non problem. Now the knife opens and closes one handed with ease and safety.
It fits comfortably in the pockets of my jeans, dress clothes and shorts. The quality and appearance of this knife is great. I was eager to show it to family and friends, they were impressed with the opening and closeing features and cautious about the sharpness of the blade.
I am not easy on pocket knives and this one is standing up to the test. If something should ever happen to this knife, I will be quick to replace it with the exact model.
