Needs More Documentation [Posted on 2008-02-20]
I bought this to up grade my old pocket hole jig (#2000 I think) but this doesn't fit the old jig. You have to buy the new guide block to use this.
I ended up buying the guide block and like this jig so much better than the old model. It is faster to use (clamping handle is on the front & holes are beveled so it's easier to get the drill bit in there).I really like the dust collection feature too. Bits don't fill up with dust and jam, so they stay cooler.
If I had to do it over I would just get a whole new kit.
