Looked like it might be good... [Posted on 2007-10-17] ...but it is worthless. I opened the case and the case clip came off. I tried to tighten a bit onto the plastic driver and the locking mechanism ripped off. I tried using the bits and they stripped themselves along with the screw I was trying to unscrew. I would avoid these and get something that either has a sturdier driver and better bits or I would go with this: Felo 0715731844 Set of 6 Slotted & Phillips Precision Screwdrivers, 240 Series
Perfect for light-duty precision work [Posted on 2007-12-26] This is a comprehensive, well-made, and attractive set for precision work, as it was intended. I like it a lot.
So far I have used the Torx T5 and Phillips #00 to swap out the hard drive in my MacBook Pro, and the Philips #0 and #1 and Posi #1 for fixing toys and the like, and the only sign of stripping was of a screw when I first tried using Phillips #1 rather than Posi #1 (which explains a lot of stripped screws using other tools in the past -- I had never heard of Posi-Drive before, and it really is different, so great to have). The bits are quite hard and haven't stripped at all.
I only gave it 4 stars because of one flaw: The plastic collet does not close tightly enough with a standard degree of tightening on the ferrule, and so bits tend to slip inwards when pressure is applied to the handle; since the handle is hollow to allow for the extension shaft, they can slip entirely in. One has to tighten the ferrule a tad bit more than feels normal to get the bits to stay put. But one can sidestep this entirely by using the extension shaft, which then allows bits to be quickly put in and removed while leaving the ferrule just barely tight.
Perhaps someday the collet will break as for the prior reviewer, through overtightening the ferrule or using the driver to force a hard-put screw, but so far there hasn't been any sign of that happening.
Not so good as adversited [Posted on 2008-05-31] This set look great on pictures, but made materials are not soo great. This is not recomended for a regularch tech, entusiats, just for the very casual user as it will not last longer.
Good Value [Posted on 2008-10-06] Good value item, it should not be used for heavy duty work, but for casual users it's perfect.
