Not so EZ-Start [Posted on 2005-08-31]
I thought the name EZ-Start implied just that. However, I need to pull the cord many times before it fires and then it often dies until I get it going. This is with fresh gas and proper mixture. Otherwise, once it gets going, it's not bad.

worked good for 1 tank of gas, filled with gas & it would not start,called to get it fixed, called 4 phone #, 0ne said it would take 3 months to fix,the other three told me it was a piece of junk, called mtd back, & they are going to send me a new one, hope it works better than the first one.

Gas powered trimmer [Posted on 2005-09-11]
I am really impressed with this trimmer. It is light weight and has plenty of power to cut through the toughest grass. Though I don't have a use yet for the brush cutter blade, it's good to know that it has the option when I do need it.
