This is a great tool, for weeding, hoeing, getting those tough weeds with deep roots. But I use it side ways to spread compost also. In fact I use it every day, on every job, it's so versatile- one tool does many jobs. The size it great, as it allows you to get in between plants. I'm so glad I bought this tool. I have a landscape business, and I would not be without this combo tool. It was delivered when promised, and all I had to do was screw the handle on, and it was good to go. You do have to purchase a long handle, which apparently can be used on other tools by the same company. I really like the handle, the length really saves the back; no bending over or stooping to reach under plants. Love it.
