I experienced accuracy problems due largely to the base being way too flexible. Also, the method of attatching the router (A Porter Cable 690) to the base is not secure, allowing the router to shift while cutting. I do not recommend this tool.

This is a good guide for making circles and it doubles as an edge guide too. You can also use it as an ofset balance guide.

It's all plastic so it won't last forever but it works well for what it is.

I bought this router to help me build a custom poker table. I wanted very smooth arcs on the ends. The guide was really easy to figure out, pretty simple to work with and did a great job.

The one hang-up was that the supplied screws were not long enough to attach the base to the Dewalt router that I was using. They were a standard thread so I just used slightly longer screws with no problem.

I have only used the arc guide but would imagine that the edge guide would work just as well. For the price I am very happy.
