Product is Okay [Posted on 2007-11-08]
I don't think this was worth the money. It is Milwaukee quality, which is great, but once the blades are dull, I will probably never replace them, due to the cost. This was an impulse buy and every time I need a utility knife I don't reach for this kit, I reach for my $1.98 utility blade.

Milwaukee 11 Piece Utility Kit [Posted on 2007-11-23]
This is a great tool that will cut just about anything and manufactured to the traditional high quality Milwaukee standards. True, the blades will become dull after use and they are rather expensive to replace just because they are dull. I would hope anyone that is a tradesman working in the restoration, renovation or new construction industry, knew how to sharpen a knife blade. Although, if anyone plans trashing a Buck or Gerber knife due to being dull, E-mail me I will pay the UPS fee to get your dull knife.

Set does not have enough bang for the buck. [Posted on 2008-01-07]
Blades do not stay very sharp very long, & there was only one of each type in the case. The handle was comfortable, ergonomic and easy to use. Blade changes are simple and the blade was held securely. The handle was well engineered and sturdy, my problem was with the blades they were not even hardened. I only wish that the attachments were as good as the handle. It would also be nice if extra blades (more than one of each) were included for this price.

Not "Milwaukee" enough [Posted on 2008-01-18]
The handle accepts all of the blades and the handle is very good and what one would expect from Milwaukee. Top grade and solid. The blades are not. The kit would be a good buy at $30. As is and priced at $45-$50; you are buying the flexibility and general usefulness of an "all-in-one" product.

If it wasn't Milwaukee branded, it's OK. With the Milwaukee brand I am disappointed.

UPDATE: Ryobi owns Milwaukee now; that could be part of the issue.

MIlwaukee 11-piece Utility Kit [Posted on 2008-09-08]
This is handy little set. True, it is not for te every day user (plumber, elect, Carpet installer, etc) since the blades are a bit pricey. But if you a a DIYer this is a VERY handy tool to have in your tool box. The handle even acepts Sawzall blades too! I just oredered another carpet blade for mine. As for the price, it is definately worth the $40 I paid. Let's face it...you wouldn't hesitate to pay $20 for a good carpet knife would you...for twice that ammount you can get a whole lot more tools that are more versitile!
