Customer Reviews:

Nice Product [Posted on 2007-12-17]
If you don't have room for, don't need, or can't afford multiple-outlet clean-power strip devices, go with this one. It is compact and inexpensive. I use the two outlets for my TV and surround sound receiver, and use a standard power strip from another outlet for the rest of my devices.

Great little surge protector [Posted on 2008-02-23]
This is a great item, works great for the tv and PS3 in my bedroom. Be aware though, there are two ground prongs on the back of the plug, it will require both spaces on a duplex receptacle.

complete bust [Posted on 2008-04-09]
The installation instructions included in the product package (a clamshell package; I'm not talking about the outer shipping box) were not for the purchased product. They were for a more complex product that really did need installation instructions. This product should have been a simple plug-it-into-the-wall-outlet device, but it has a long, fixed-in-place screw centered between its 2 sockets. You must remove the faceplate from the wall to install it. You can't remove the screw, and you can't NOT fasten it--it is too long. When I tried to fasten that center screw, something went wrong, because there was a snap and a big spark. I think the device got fried. It's now sitting in its shipping container on a table, making me mad every time I see it.

Works well but a few minor complaints [Posted on 2008-10-08]
The power center works well allthough I have not had any electrical storms or faults to truly test it yet. The few areas that I would take issue with are
1)the outlets in my house are the rectangular "designer" kind with no screw in the middle. The AV 200 uses a screw in the center to secure it to the wall outlet. I have not had issues with it falling out but could be a problem.

2) Would not fit behind my main TV because of the tight space between the outlet on the wall and where the TV is hung.

3) As with all Monster Power products I have, the recepticles are extremely hard to insert a plug into. I guess it is better then falling out but they need to find a happy medium between not falling out and forcing in.
