Just purchased - only $18 at local store [Posted on 2008-11-17]
Well, just purchased this so not sure how I'll like it. But, I only paid $18 for it at my local garden store. Note, the cap has to be removed to use the thermometer. No instructions on how to do it - I tried to unscrew it and broke it....fixed with crazy glue. It actually slips off with a firm tug. Takes two days for the rechargeable batteries to charge. So far, like the looks and size of it - it is big - should be able to easily see it from my house...when the windows aren't frosted over.
