Good Hose--No Fittings Included [Posted on 2006-07-07] This is a great hose. I got this recently and it works well, and I do think it's better than a rubber hose.
There are no fittings included with this hose, so once it arrives, you have to go out and buy fittings for each end in order to hook it up and use it. Amazon.com apparently doesn't carry the fittings (what's up guys I though you had no shelf space issues? Stock all the parts please). Sparing Amazon some of the blame, there's no reason the manufacturer couldn't include a couple fittings with the hose. The fittings are between 1 and 4 bucks at retail, so with a product of this price, the cost of the fittings shouldn't change much. Besides my wish fort fittings to be included, this is a fine hose.
Not worth the hype [Posted on 2006-10-17] I've used this hose heavily for 1.5 yrs. Is it a nice hose? Yes. Is it a great hose? No. Not at the 2x (or more) the price tag vs. rubber IMO.
Likes: Doesn't stretch (permanently), lighter weight, doesn't kink easy, less friction while dragging around objects.
Dislikes: more 'memory' and 'springy' than rubber (easier for it to trip you, get caught on things, or twist on itself - a MAJOR safety hazard IMO), price
Durable yet flexible [Posted on 2006-10-29] I have dozens of the 1/4" hoses but needed a hose to feed multiple guns. We use this item to feed 3 guns several stories up ussing a 3 way splitter.
The increased diameter allows mutiple gun operation without the hastles of kinking or tangling. It is as easy to wrap up as the 1/4" style.
Excellent Hose [Posted on 2007-03-31] The hose is easy to work with and doesn't kink and is easy to roll up.
Works, but not the best. [Posted on 2007-11-05] This hose works, but it gets tankled and kinks up when you merely look at it. I'm constantly tripping over this thing, and coiling it at the end of a job is unnecessarily time consuming. The red rubber ones are better.
