As a framing contractor who owns two Paslode F350S framing nailers, I use my share of nails. I have to say that Paslode's nails are FAR superior to generic nails. The paper tape used to hold them together is very water resistant and very strong. I have dropped sticks from two stories off the ground, and they didn't break. The ring shank has exceptional holding power (perfect for subfloor). My only word of warning is to hold on slightly to the plunger after loading the gun to keep it from sliding back too hard and compressing the strip.
