These ear muffs provide some serious hearing protection. Whether you're out shooting deer and rabbits or giving yourself some auditory privacy in a noisy work place, you'll be delighted with them. I bought the high visibility muffs for my husband so that he can find them easily if he drops them somewhere on our 45 acres. I have a black pair in my office so that I don't have to listen to my office mates on their speaker phones when I'm chasing network bugs or installing complex software.

Serious hearing protection, serious quiet!

We bought these specifically for our daughter with autism, after breaking a pair of Winchester shooting ear muffs purchased from WalMart. The noise blocked with the Peltors is very good, but the fit is very tight on these. In our case, that is not a bad thing, as our daughter does seek out external pressure, but she cannot wear these for an extended period of time.

If you have a large hat size, I don't recommend these.

Best loud noise protection for precious little ears [Posted on 2008-06-09]
We bought a pair of these for our now five year old when he was two. He hated amplified music and fire engines, but with these on he could enjoy outdoor rock concerts and parades. They also allowed him to experience his first fireworks without fear. His little brother is now super-sensitive to sirens and truck horns, so we knew we'd need these for his summer fun.
