I am quite pleased with the weedeater. Easy to start, Light to carry. Very powerful. The price was right on amazon!!
Hesitation when applied throttle [Posted on 2008-03-25]
It is obvious this machine was not adjusted at the factory as the manual stated. when I apply the throttle after the engine has warmed up it takes about 20 seconds before the engine opens up. Upon calling poulan I learned there is no technical support there and you have to take it in to a liscensed repair shop. OMG!!
Trimmer Arrived w/ Damage!! [Posted on 2008-04-17]
Overall, this trimmer works great. Easy assembly, easy start up.(after replacing broken part)
While accepting delivery from UPS, I noticed the box had crush damage. Further inspection found plactic air box housing was broken. In order to file a damage claim with UPS they require a complete address from shipper. Amazon.com only provides a city/state. on their shipping label. If U recieve YOUR package w/ damage, have the carrier make a note and save yourself a headache!!

Very satisfied with the Poulan. Replaced a 20 year old McCullough Eager Beaver and the difference in technology is apparent. Starts and runs excellently. Push to extend string works great. A little heavier than some other machines but not a burden.

Great product, starts easy. I hardly rev it to the max, about halfway is all I need. my only con is when you extend the cutting line the blade to trim the line to size doesn't cut well. Not sure if it's dull or not but that's a minor complaint. Great product
