Mine is marked to 220 in-lb (extra torque!) [Posted on 2008-01-17] Don't be alarmed if your package insert reads 20-150 in-lb, since the wrench itself is marked to 220 in-lb. Perhaps the +/- 4% accuracy only appies up to 200 in-lb. A 10% torque bonus!
Great value for the weekend mechanic. [Posted on 2008-02-18] Works well. Reading the settings requires my reading glasses, but overall, I am very satisfied.
1/4 inch torque wrench a great buy!! [Posted on 2008-03-30] I looked in several places in our town and could only fine wrenches that were 2-3x more expensive. This is a high quality tool and was a good transaction.
Useless [Posted on 2008-06-16] As received, the torque wrench was so badly out of calibration that it was totally useless. The torque settings on the wrench produced torques almost twice as high as the indicated values over the entire torque range. In addition, reproducibility was so poor that I was even unable to make a 'correction' table. Fortunately I discovered the problem before using the wrench or I would have surely stripped out the fasteners. The wrench appears to be a knock-off of the high quality 'Snap-On' wrench which is available on-line for ~$135. Don't waste your money on this product - buy the 'Snap-On' tool.
Good tool for the price [Posted on 2008-08-19] The minor calibrations are only in metric while the major calibrations are in both inch-pounds and Newton-Meters. As the inch-pound major settings go by steps of 20, it's not hard to figure half way for 20, 3/4 for 35, etc.
Quality and storage case seem good for an inexpensive tool.
The range also goes to 240 inch-pounds, not 200 as the title suggests.
