Great Value for the Home Mechanic [Posted on 2008-02-18] Works well. Reading the settings requires my reading glasses, but overall, I am very satisfied.
Torque Wrench [Posted on 2008-05-10] I am a full time mechanic. I did not feel the need for a snap-on wrench at this time because i needed this wrench for the lower value foot lbs. The wrench works well and is accurate and should last me awhile with heavy use.
Homeowners delight [Posted on 2008-06-18] For a once-in-awhile use this is a FINE tool. I suspect a mechanic wouldn't want to use it day in a day out, but for the price it's nice to have around.
Great tool for the price [Posted on 2008-07-01] The Pro quality 3/8" 10-80 Foot Pound wrench was needed by me as it also does Newton measurements which I need for my motorcycle as everything on it is metric. It handles both. Good product, reasonable price and a handy carrying case to boot.
It doesn't have Newton-meter measurements [Posted on 2008-08-07] I ordered this wrench because it described Newton-meter measurement. Here's a quote:
"Hard-to-find lower torque settings in 3/8" drive; 10-80 foot-pounds (13 - 108 Newton-meters)"
In actuality, it has Ft-lbs and m-Kgs and comes with a conversion chart. Which is precisely the reason why I didn't order the Sunex torque wrench.
This wrench is crap. Use your money to get a better quality brand.
