Having to replace almost everything we had due to Hurricane Katrina, we have learned the quality of most products available in the United States these days...............The key word...................
D I S P O S A B L E ! ! ! We can expect almost everything to last for approximately one year. Same here. Don't waste your money on this timer. Spend the extra $ and purchase one that has a rating of at least "Commercial.....Light Commercial". I Purchased the better unit from Sprinkler Warehouse and the quality is easily detected. This unit just doesn't have the quality to endure daily use. Sorry Rain Bird........ Just isn't worth the money. The light commercial is from Rain Bird so they do make some better quality products.
No problems but a little quirky [Posted on 2007-10-15]
I installed this station timer after my last one was shorted by lightning. I had no problems and it seems like a good timer for the money. I found setting the watering times a little quirky but then maybe I should've read the instructions.
